He had said 'sweat is sacred': 'Butlan' administration fires 20 people
It is alleged that the administration that took office following the absolute nullity (mutlak butlan) decision in the CHP has terminated the employment of 20 more staff members at the Headquarters. While CHP Adana Deputy Burhanettin Bulut reacted harshly to the layoffs, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's recent support for miners, where he stated "sweat is sacred," has brought the discussions back to the agenda.
Allegations regarding layoffs by the 'absolute nullity' (mutlak butlan) administration, which took over the CHP management following a court decision, continue to occupy the agenda. While it is claimed that new additions have been made to the personnel purges previously initiated at the Party Headquarters, it was alleged that 20 more employees were recently fired.
IT WAS CLAIMED THAT 24 PEOPLE WERE FIRED IN THE FIRST STAGE
According to the allegations, the process began with layoff warnings to employees before the change in management. It was stated that 24 people were fired in the first stage after the administration took office.
With the latest development, it is claimed that 20 more workers were fired at the CHP Headquarters. The issue has reignited debates within the party.
REACTION FROM BURHANETTİN BULUT
CHP Adana Deputy Burhanettin Bulut reacted to the layoff decisions with a statement on his social media account.
Bulut used the following expressions in his post:
"The 'Butlancılar' (those of the nullity administration), who were seated in their chairs through appointments made by the palace via the judiciary, have once again signed off on a purge of laborers at the Headquarters. From secretaries to cleaning staff, from tea house workers to photocopy operators, 20 more laborers have been sacrificed to the vengeful ambition of this deranged mentality. Those who hide behind 'precautions' when it comes to the party congress turn into hawks when it comes to the laborers who have poured their sweat into this 'father's hearth' for years. The true owners of this party are not the offices, but those who keep this plane tree standing with their labor. We leave this purge mentality against laborers to the conscience of the public."
KILIÇDAROĞLU'S "SWEAT IS SACRED" MESSAGE IS BACK ON THE AGENDA
On the other hand, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's solidarity message to Özşen Mining workers the other day has also returned to the agenda following these developments.
Kılıçdaroğlu, who supported the workers who locked themselves in the mine to demand their salaries and rights, had used the following expressions in his statement:
"Sweat is sacred; resisting injustice is our debt to our nation.
The armed attack attempt against our miners, who are resisting for their bread and honor at Özşen Mining, is a dirty provocation not only against those workers but against all laborers of this country.
I condemn this ugly attack.
Furthermore, the detention of members of the Private Sector Teachers' Union, who work with devotion for the future of our children, is also unacceptable.
We will continue to shout our loyalty to labor and our unwavering determination against injustice in every square and from every podium. Neither our teachers nor our miners are alone.
Under our government, the rights of sweat will not be usurped; everyone will receive the full value of their labor."
