He resigned with scathing words: Mustafa Sarıgül's call to the CHP regarding Gürsel Tekin!

Gürsel Tekin, who served as Secretary General of the CHP between 2014 and 2016 and was elected as a member of parliament for 4 terms, has announced his resignation from the CHP.

Announcing his decision on his personal social media account, Tekin directed harsh criticisms at the party leadership.

Following Tekin's resignation, CHP Erzincan MP Mustafa Sarıgül, known for his closeness to former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, addressed the party leadership.

Stating, “I invite everyone to turn back from this mistake,” Sarıgül added, “Gürsel Tekin is not a politician who can be dismissed with a ‘let him go if he wants to’ attitude.”

CRITICISM FROM SARIGÜL TO THE PARTY LEADERSHIP

Sarıgül noted the following in his post:

"1-Those who set out with the claim that 'regardless of their preference at the convention, we will embrace everyone and not leave a single person behind' are expected to adhere to political and democratic courtesy.

2-The path to success in party management lies not in a policy of liquidation, but in political and democratic courtesy.

3-Parties cannot be managed with the mentality of 'let it be small, as long as it is mine.'

Party organizations and the labor invested in the party cannot be ignored.

4-Gürsel Tekin, with whom I have had internal party struggles, is an asset to the CHP.

Gürsel Tekin is not a politician who can be dismissed with a ‘let him go if he wants to’ attitude.

I invite everyone to turn back from this mistake."
