In political circles, there is talk of claims that İYİ Party Gaziantep Deputy Mehmet Mustafa Gürban will resign from his party in the coming days and join the AK Party.

According to information reflected in Ankara's political corridors, it has been suggested that Gürban will join the ranks of the AK Party.

HE REMOVED THE PARTY REFERENCE FROM HIS SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT

Following the claims, it was observed that Gürban made a notable change to his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Gürban removed the phrase "İYİ Party Gaziantep Deputy" from his social media profile.

İYİ Party Spokesperson and Deputy Chairman Buğra Kavuncu also stated in his remarks on the matter that they have been unable to reach Mehmet Mustafa Gürban.

SİNAN BURHAN HAD ALSO BROUGHT UP THE SAME CLAIM

Sinan Burhan had also announced in recent weeks during his commentary on TV100 that he had received similar inside information.

Burhan had used the following expressions on the program:

"If there is no error in my inside information; I have information that İYİ Party Gaziantep Deputy Mehmet Mustafa Gürban will resign from his party and switch to the AK Party."

On the other hand, the last person to join the AK Party from the İYİ Party was Nevşehir Mayor Rasim Arı.

Arı had previously left the İYİ Party and joined the AK Party in the past term.
