HÜDA PAR calls for support for Palestinians in Diyarbakır: 'We are ready to make every sacrifice required of us'

In Diyarbakır, party members and citizens gathered under the leadership of the Free Cause Party (HÜDA PAR) Provincial Youth Branch to hold an event in support of Palestinians.

The event, held at the 15 July Martyrs Park in the central Kayapınar district, began with a recitation of the Quran. Citizens carrying banners in support of Jerusalem that read, "Palestine must be free, occupation is a crime," "Jews must stop the mindless Zionists or they will bring about their own end," and "Jerusalem is honor and dignity," frequently chanted slogans in support of Palestine and Jerusalem.

Speaking at the program, HÜDA PAR Diyarbakır Provincial Chairman Vedat Turgut stated that they support the operation named "Al-Aqsa Flood" carried out by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades. Stating that the Palestinian people are defending their own lands, Turgut continued his speech as follows:

“Under these circumstances, all official and civilian elements of Muslims must stand with their Muslim brothers economically, militarily, and spiritually. Palestinian Muslims must not be left alone in their resistance against the occupation.”

Stating that they are on the side of and supporters of every legitimate action leading to the freedom of Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Turgut said, “As HÜDA PAR, we once again shout at the top of our voices and say; with our lives, our blood, our wealth, and our families, we stand with our first Qibla, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and our Muslim brothers. We are on the side of and supporters of every legitimate action leading to the freedom of Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. We are ready to make every sacrifice required of us on this path.”
