'I believe in Bahçeli's move,' he said: İsmail Küçükkaya's bombshell claim about Demirtaş

'I believe in Bahçeli's move,' he said: İsmail Küçükkaya's bombshell claim about Demirtaş

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's invitation to PKK ringleader Abdullah Öcalan to speak from the parliamentary podium continues to occupy the agenda.

In his statement at the party's group meeting, Bahçeli had said, "If the isolation of the terrorist leader is lifted, let him come and speak at the DEM Party group meeting in the TBMM." In his most recent group meeting, Bahçeli stated that he stood by his words.

Following these developments, İsmail Küçükkaya from Halk TV claimed that Bahçeli would make a similar call to the one he made to Öcalan to Selahattin Demirtaş as well.

On Halk TV, İsmail Küçükkaya noted the following on the program 'Yeni Bir Sabah':

I BELIEVE IN BAHÇELİ'S MOVE

Now, Eylem Hanım asked me a question. She asks, "You supported this move by Bahçeli, why?" Because I believe in it. I believe it is for the good of my country; I want to believe.

HE MAY MAKE A SIMILAR CALL TO DEMİRTAŞ

And indeed, today, Fehmi Koru says in his column in Karar: "When you look at the election in America and consider its reflections on the Middle East, it is as if Bahçeli saw this election, understood that Trump would win, and is taking preemptive action," says Fehmi Koru. It is very important. But, if you will allow me, Eylem Hanım, Mehmet Sevigen, something came to my mind while reading and thinking about these. I said, I am actually of the opinion that the state should make a similar call to Demirtaş.

Since, for the well-being and peace of our country, we attach importance to the terrorist ringleader Öcalan, who founded the terrorist organization, saying, 'Come, dissolve this,' perhaps Bahçeli could also make a call to Demirtaş. If Demirtaş also serves his people and his state as is expected of Öcalan, he could be effective for our peace. Why am I saying this? I mean, I don't know how effective Öcalan is. To be honest, I don't think he is very effective. But if Demirtaş is also involved—I don't mean for political calculations like separating or distinguishing the two—if Demirtaş is also brought into the process, it could be more effective. I don't know if Mehmet Sevigen or Eylem Hanım would agree with me?"
