İmamoğlu calls on political parties for 'justice for youth'! 'Take action against the oppression!'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was imprisoned on March 23, drew attention to the unlawful practices targeting students and youth in a post on his social media account. İmamoğlu stated that the pressures on the youth would go down in history as a black mark and made harsh criticisms.

"TAKE ACTION AGAINST THIS OPPRESSION"

Expressing his criticisms of the justice system, İmamoğlu said, "The person responsible for justice continues to say 'the judiciary is independent' every day. Get out of here! In a country where the judiciary is truly independent, does this need to be reminded every day? Preparing an indictment to impose a political ban on young people is a declaration that you are afraid. Shame on you!"

Those who try to frighten the youth with statements signed by YÖK, universities, and faculties, ministers who line up to post social media messages minute by minute upon an instruction, and administrators who approach this process irresponsibly, contribute to injustice, and serve a handful of people;

This nation will pin your tin medals on you one by one at the first ballot box that comes before it. I have not the slightest doubt about this.
