Message of a 'green Turkey' from İmamoğlu! 'We did it in Istanbul, we will do it in Turkey too'

Detained Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu emphasized the importance of the environment and green spaces in a post shared on his social media account.

In his statement, İmamoğlu drew attention to projects that prioritize nature against urbanization in cities. Stating that they want to expand the "life valleys" model implemented in Istanbul to all of Turkey, İmamoğlu gave the message that they would launch a comprehensive environmental movement across the country under the name "Green Turkey Mobilization."

Instead of urbanization in our cities, we will become a Turkey that enjoys the beauties of our nature thanks to our green infrastructure models.

We will expand our life valleys that give Istanbul a breath of fresh air to all our cities.

In his post, İmamoğlu included the following statements:
