İnce lashes out at CHP: 'Are you the Red Crescent? Withdraw your MP and let their group collapse'

İnce lashes out at CHP: 'Are you the Red Crescent? Withdraw your MP and let their group collapse'

Meeting with members of the press at a hotel, İnce criticized the government's economic policies. Stating that the CHP gave 39 parliamentary seats to the Gelecek, Saadet, and Deva parties in the general election, İnce noted the following:

"They gave more than 80, but 39 were elected. Then they left and 20 people formed a group. Then, a Member of Parliament passed away, and the group collapsed. Upon this, the CHP gave them another MP.

They re-established the group. One of the MPs elected from the CHP lists became the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality candidate for the Saadet Party. Their first statement was, 'Istanbul's last 5 years have been wasted.'

Are you the Red Crescent? Withdraw your MP and let their group collapse. Why don't you withdraw them? What kind of relationship are you in, who taught you this kind of politics, why are you letting yourselves be tortured?

They will both be elected from your list and insult you, and you will provide a backup MP. I have never seen such politics anywhere in the world.

"I HAVE BEEN A POLITICIAN FOR 40 YEARS..."

I am seeing this kind of politics at such a low level for the first time. I have been a politician for 40 years, and I have never seen such negligence, such incompetence.

The opposition will face disappointment in this election. I am saying what I see; they are doing such wrong things that I am watching in astonishment."

Announcing that his party will not take part in the alliance, İnce stated that he had met with CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, adding, "We could not reach an agreement with them. I told them about 'principles in politics,' and they said I wanted districts. We will see the seriousness of the situation on April 1st," he said.
