Quoting footage of the scuffle shared by the CHP Gaziosmanpaşa District Presidency, Saymaz had stated, "AK Party members are causing trouble to avoid handing over Gaziosmanpaşa."
Quoting his own message, Saymaz stated that the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation against him over the post in question, on charges of 'spreading misleading information to the public' and 'inciting the public to hatred and hostility.'
