The CHP has decided to move its provincial presidency building to Bahçelievler. The phrase "Istanbul has 39 districts" in the statement made on the party's official page raised claims that the CHP plans to change its provincial presidency building every day.
The CHP Headquarters took a remarkable step after Gürsel Tekin, whom the court appointed as a trustee to the Istanbul Provincial Presidency, entered the building amidst protests.
PROVINCIAL PRESIDENCY BUILDING IS CLOSING
The party management decided to close the Istanbul Provincial Presidency building. An extraordinary provincial congress will be held in accordance with the application made to the Sarıyer District Election Board. It was stated that party activities will be carried out at a different address until a new provincial president and management are elected.
NEW CENTER IS BAHÇELIEVLER
The CHP chose the Bahçelievler District Presidency building as the new address for the provincial presidency. It was learned that this address was also reported to the Istanbul Governorship and the Court of Cassation. On the other hand, it was stated that the vacated provincial building will be used as a work office by Chairman Özgür Özel.
