İYİ Party Chairman Dervişoğlu speaks from Bursa: Warns that 'the state is collapsing'

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu addressed the people of Bursa at the 'First Duty' rally held at Bursa Osmangazi Square.

"EVEN IF WE LOOKED FROM DIFFERENT WINDOWS, WE LOOKED WITH THE SAME EYES"

Dervişoğlu began his speech by saying, "Even if we looked from different windows, we always looked with the same eyes; we wanted a beautiful Turkey. We wanted to see happy people, healthy children. We wanted greenery, we wanted blue. Most importantly, we wanted the red flag waving."

"THEY THINK THE TURKISH NATION THEY HAVE IMPOVERISHED WILL COWER"

"You have witnessed them cutting off greetings once they sat in office. Because of them, never be resentful toward your brother or fight with your neighbor. Know that everyone carries a heavy burden on their back. I, you, he—we will join hands together and strive to lighten the load on our backs. Just as joy multiplies when shared, troubles will decrease when shared. As if it were not enough that they deem all these troubles worthy of us, they are trying to divide us. They think the Turkish nation they have impoverished will cower."

"YOU DID NOT BOW MY HEAD, AND I WILL NOT BOW YOURS"

"You are not alone, believe in yourselves. You are not helpless. You are the true owners of this homeland; you are not without an owner. You did not bow my head, and I will not bow yours. We cannot swallow, we cannot breathe. But if we are here, know that we are not exhausted and we will not be exhausted. Young people, speak. Speak loudly. Tyranny does not collapse without being pushed. Lives have been burned, there are scorched hands. They fought to save a life. Is it a lack of ownership or negligence? Those who treat their seats as their homeland, those who mistake their office for their personality, those who have become detached from their nation and poisoned life have brought us to this state. Whatever happens to us will happen together. Politics is you, me, us. The struggle is you, me, us. Will we obey those who divide us, or will we stand together despite those who divide us? Speak, shout. I am traveling from square to square with the desire for a Turkey that speaks and cries out."

"THE STATE IS COLLAPSING, THE NATION IS DIVIDING"

Dervişoğlu stated, "It hasn't even been a week, we lost our children to thirst. Their 40th day hasn't even passed. Nobody cared. They couldn't even say who killed our martyrs so that their partners wouldn't be offended. How many days has it been since we lost our 10 heroes in the fire? Our children walked into the fire in reflective vests. There is no one else who cares except for your conscience and mine. Our goal is to make those who do not hear, hear, and to show those who do not see. Because we are not just losing our children. It is not just mothers, fathers, spouses, and children crying. It is not just forests burning or buildings collapsing. In fact, the state is collapsing, our nation is dividing. Our future is being lost as much as the buildings that are collapsing. With every injustice, our unity cracks. This is what is sold to us as fate."

"WE WILL COLLAPSE IT BY STANDING WITH THE TRUTH"

Dervişoğlu said, "We will collapse the system built on lies and slander by standing with the truth. Our young brothers and sisters who protect their universities, the laborers who pursue the sweat of their brow, the farmer who patiently sows every piece of land, and mothers with their prayers will collapse it. Do not forget, tyranny does not collapse without being pushed. Down with tyranny, long live freedom. We will stop the alliances of evil together. Their profiles, names, and goals are clear. We will take action before this homeland burns. There is a remedy, we are not helpless."

"WE SAY LET US PUT AN END TO THIS MISERY"

Dervişoğlu said, "Citizens are struggling with interest rates, rents, and taxes. Our youth are hopeless about their future and are going to foreign countries. Rights are being violated, the law is being trampled. Our women are being brutally murdered. The lives of babies are falling into the hands of the Newborn Gangs. We say let's investigate and solve it, no word. We say there are people under dilapidated buildings, no word. We say drugs have entered middle schools, our future is being slaughtered, let's form a commission, we say. The retiree, the widow, the orphan cannot boil their pot. We say let us put an end to this misery." Expressing that they have submitted 127 legislative proposals and 533 parliamentary inquiry motions as the İYİ Party, he thanked the İYİ Party deputies for those that were either rejected or are pending.
