İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez shared the message of university student Narsay Ergün, who was arrested for participating in protests that began following the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, during their visit to the Marmara Prison in Silivri yesterday.

"WE TRUST OUR PEOPLE, YOU TRUST US TOO"
In his message, Ergün stated, "I am right, and I am proud to be here. We are here for all of you. We want rights, law, and justice. Our young brothers and sisters should not lose hope. Because we are the future of this country. We trust our people, you trust us too."
"HERE YOU GO, THE TURKISH CENTURY OF THE TYRANNICAL ORDER"
In a statement made on a social media platform, Çömez noted the following:
"Narsay, a second-year Computer Engineering student at Beykent University: 'I had gone to the rally in Saraçhane. I was tired from standing for a long time, and when I sat down for a moment to rest, the police came and took me. They put me in reverse handcuffs and threw me to the ground. They kicked me; one of them kicked my neck. (The marks from the reverse handcuffs on his wrists and the kicks on his neck were still visible.) They were throwing the young people they rounded up on top of each other. At one point, pepper spray was sprayed on us. We were kept in the bus for a long time to be taken to the police station. There were friends of ours who had to relieve themselves on the bus. Mesut had fractures in his leg and ribs. He stayed in prison in this condition for a week, then they took him to the hospital...' Here you go, the Turkish Century of the tyrannical order!"
