Kılıçdaroğlu change at the Court of Cassation: Özgür Özel removed

Following the judicial process regarding the CHP in Ankara, changes in the party's leadership have begun to be reflected in official records.

Following the appellate court's decision to annul the 2023 CHP 38th Ordinary Congress, where Özgür Özel was elected chairman, it was ruled that the pre-congress administration should return to duty in accordance with the decision.

The court had ruled that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu should serve as the acting CHP Chairman until the decision becomes final.

COURT OF CASSATION PROSECUTOR'S RECORDS UPDATED

Following this development, a change was made to the "General Information on Political Parties" section on the official website of the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation.

The name of Özgür Özel, which was previously in the "Chairman" section of the information regarding the CHP, has been removed.

In the updated list, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's name is now listed as the CHP Chairman.

It was stated that the change on the Court of Cassation Chief Public Prosecutor's website was made following the appellate court's decision regarding the CHP congress.
