Kılıçdaroğlu: 'My prayers are for the oppressed people of Palestine'

CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made a statement on the X platform regarding Israel's intensified attacks on Gaza tonight.

Kılıçdaroğlu, who attended the Republic's 100th-anniversary reception and ended his program early following the developments, stated in his social media post: "Tonight, the blood of the innocent will be on the hands of everyone who remains silent about this massacre. The world will either put a stop to this massacre or be complicit in it; there is no middle ground!"

Kılıçdaroğlu's statement is as follows:

"Gaza, cut off from the outside world, is under heavy bombardment... Innocents are being slaughtered in Gaza, and as if that were not enough, the Israeli Prime Minister continues to target hospitals.

Tonight, the blood of the innocent will be on the hands of everyone who remains silent about this massacre. The world will either put a stop to this massacre or be complicit in it; there is no middle ground! My prayers are for the oppressed people of Palestine..."

LATEST SITUATION IN GAZA

In the evening hours, intense attacks were carried out on the Beit Hanoun neighborhood in the northern part of Gaza with howitzer fire. Following the howitzer attacks, the Israeli army launched intense airstrikes on northern Gaza, particularly in Beit Hanoun.

Israeli aircraft dropped bombs on the region consecutively for approximately 1 hour.
