Kılıçdaroğlu's insistence on Demirtaş continues

New developments regarding Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who is at the center of claims that he is once again the chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP) due to a "null and void" decision, continue to be debated.

According to the claims, Kılıçdaroğlu intends to hold a series of meetings with well-known figures currently held in various prisons.

MEETING CLAIMS

Kılıçdaroğlu's name is being mentioned specifically in connection with a possible meeting with former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, who is held in Edirne F-Type Prison.

According to a report by the Türkiye newspaper, it is stated that Demirtaş does not view Kılıçdaroğlu's meeting request favorably. DEM Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan expressed this situation by saying, "Kemal Bey does not actually have an official application for a meeting. Even if he did, Demirtaş would not accept it."

Other names Kılıçdaroğlu plans to visit include journalist Merdan Yanardağ, businessman Osman Kavala, and urban planner Tayfun Kahraman. Whether these visits will take place and how the schedule will be shaped has not yet been clarified.

Furthermore, it has been learned that individuals close to Kılıçdaroğlu within CHP circles have expressed that they will also suggest he visit Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. His aides stated, "We will suggest that Kemal Bey also visit Ekrem Bey in the coming period."
