Kılıçdaroğlu to hold press conference without taking questions
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the post of CHP Chairman by court order, will announce his assessments regarding foreign policy and the upcoming NATO summit at a meeting he will hold today at 15:00. Journalists will not be able to ask questions at the event.
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was reinstated as Chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP) by the May 21 decision of the 36th Civil Chamber of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice, will make an important press statement in the capital today. The meeting, which was initially stated to be held at 11:00, has been postponed to 15:00 due to a program revision.
In his speech, Kılıçdaroğlu will focus on topics related to the 36th NATO Summit, which will take place in Ankara on July 7-8, and Turkey's foreign policy. While the content of the meeting is a subject of curiosity, party sources stated that the statements will focus entirely on the international agenda and Turkish foreign policy.
On the other hand, it was reported that Kılıçdaroğlu will not address the internal debates within the party following the court decision in his speech. It was emphasized that the meeting will be limited to the prepared speech and that journalists will not be able to ask questions. The party management stated that such a decision was taken to ensure that the statements do not deviate from the determined topic.
