Stating at the April 23 Reception that he would discuss the issue of a 'new constitution' with all political parties that have a group in Parliament, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Numan Kurtulmuş will come together with the leadership of three political parties today. The parties Kurtulmuş will meet with include the DEM Party, the Felicity Party, and the IYI Party, which recently completed its extraordinary congress process.

HE WILL REQUEST THEIR OWN PROPOSALS

It is noted that in the meetings where the procedures and principles of the 'new constitution' work will be discussed, Kurtulmuş will ask the political party leaderships to prepare their own proposals. If the parties complete their work during the summer period, a joint commission is expected to be established in Parliament.

Kurtulmuş began his new Constitution talks by visiting Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel.
