Local election calendar published in the Official Gazette

The "Election Calendar" for the Local Administration General Elections to be held on March 31, 2024, has been published in the Official Gazette.

According to the Supreme Election Council (YSK) decision, the start date of the election calendar has been set as January 1, 2024. According to the election calendar, the political parties that will participate in the election will be announced by the YSK on January 2.

The positions of political parties on the ballot paper will be determined by a draw to be held by the YSK on January 27.

Political parties will submit their lists of metropolitan and district mayoral candidates, as well as municipal council and provincial general assembly membership candidates (and individuals who will be independent candidates will also submit their applications), by 17:00 on February 20.

Election propaganda and bans will begin on March 21. Furthermore, the end of election propaganda has been set for 18:00 on March 30, and the end of election bans for 23:59 on March 31.
