Local election message from TİP Chairman Erkan Baş

The Republican People's Party (CHP)'s decision to re-nominate Lütfü Savaş, who was the Mayor of Hatay Metropolitan Municipality during the February 6 earthquakes, has sparked reactions.

TİP Chairman Erkan Baş made a post on his X account. In his post, Baş gave a message regarding the local elections to be held on March 31, and pointing to Hatay, he said, "We will not leave our people without alternatives."

'WE WILL NOT LEAVE OUR PEOPLE WITHOUT ALTERNATIVES, ESPECIALLY IN HATAY'

Erkan Baş's post included the following statements:

"We hear the demands coming from our party members and the voices rising from our citizens. The work we have been doing with friendly political forces, unions, women's, youth, and ecology organizations, and local platforms has now matured.

We will not leave our people without alternatives across the four corners of our country, in dozens of provinces and hundreds of districts, especially in Hatay; let no one have any doubts. We will start sharing this with the public as of next week."
