Local election strategy revealed: Devlet Bahçeli announced the cities where joint candidates will be fielded!
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made a statement regarding the People's Alliance's candidate strategy for the local elections. Regarding the IYI Party, which rejected the CHP's cooperation offer, Bahçeli stated, "The IYI Party has no strength or stamina left. It is melting away day by day and is coming to an end."
As the local elections approach, parties have accelerated their efforts. It had been stated that in the People's Alliance, Adana, Mersin, and Manisa would be left to the MHP, while the AKP would field candidates in the remaining 27 metropolitan municipalities.
BAHÇELİ ANNOUNCED THE CITIES WHERE THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE WILL FIELD JOINT CANDIDATES
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made a statement regarding the People's Alliance's candidate strategy in metropolitan municipalities.
Speaking to Türkgün newspaper, Bahçeli was asked the question, "In which provinces will you enter the election as the People's Alliance?"
Bahçeli replied, "You will learn them all when the time comes. Let it become clear first, then we will announce it. But let me state this: in all metropolitan municipalities, our candidates will be joint as the People's Alliance."
STATEMENT ON CHP AND IYI PARTY
Bahçeli also spoke about the IYI Party, which rejected the CHP's cooperation offer for the local elections.
Stating, "They were forced to establish contact with the CHP. Then they rejected the cooperation offer," Bahçeli noted that what matters is not what is said, but what is done.
"THE IYI PARTY'S CONTROL ROOM IS IN THE CHP, AND THE CHP'S IS IN THE HEDEP"
Bahçeli said, "We have watched these plays many times, we have heard these cliché words many times. There is a symbiotic (two organisms living together by helping each other as if they were a single organism) relationship between the IYI Party and the CHP. The IYI Party's control room is in the CHP. And the CHP's is in the HEDEP."
Bahçeli also argued that the CHP and the IYI Party could cooperate specifically in Ankara and Istanbul.
"THE IYI PARTY HAS NO STRENGTH OR STAMINA LEFT, IT IS COMING TO AN END"
Bahçeli said, "Some IYI Party executives were stating that they did not find institutional cooperation right, but that they would separate Yavaş and İmamoğlu. In my opinion, they will continue an unconfessed cooperation through the back door. It is clear that the decision to enter the elections as free and independent contradicts the realities of politics and life. Because the IYI Party has no strength or stamina left. It is melting away day by day and is coming to an end."
