The AKP is bringing the documentary "The Curtain Rises for Gaza," which focuses on the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, to audiences across Turkey. In this context, a screening was also organized in Çorum. The AKP Çorum Youth Branch Culture and Arts Policy Department made preparations for an open-air screening of the documentary.

According to the report in Sözcü, the Kadeş Peace Square, which has a capacity of 30 thousand people, was chosen for the screening, but the expected turnout for the event was not achieved. At the event, which was attended by only 53 people, the message "Long live hell for the oppressors" was delivered. While AKP Çorum Mayor Halil İbrahim Aşgın attended the event, AKP Çorum deputies and other party officials did not participate.
