Major alliance preparations announced: A new conservative coalition is being formed

At a time when discussions regarding early elections and alliances are gaining momentum, journalist Fehmi Çalmuk has put forward a striking claim. Çalmuk suggested that a conservative-nationalist alliance, led by Abdullah Gül and Fehmi Koru and including the Felicity Party (Saadet), the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah), the Future Party (Gelecek), and the DEVA Party, is in the process of being formed. Çalmuk stated that this alliance aims to create a new political roadmap against the AK Party.

GÜL AND KORU'S PROJECT

Fehmi Çalmuk detailed the efforts of the two figures to open a new path against the AK Party, stating, "The roadmaps of Abdullah Gül and Fehmi Koru are so intertwined, like a zipper, that they almost seem to share the same dreams." Çalmuk expressed that these efforts aim to shape an alliance similar to the one formed with the CHP in the last election, but designed to encompass conservative voters.

NEW WELFARE, FELICITY, AND OTHER PARTIES TOGETHER

According to Çalmuk's claim, this alliance will take concrete shape with the New Welfare Party, the Felicity Party, the Future Party, the DEVA Party, and other conservative and nationalist parties. It is noted that of these, only the New Welfare Party is currently polling above the 7% threshold mentioned by Fehmi Koru. It is also stated that this alliance will be shaped by two parties acting in unison during the elections. Çalmuk argued that through his writing, Fehmi Koru effectively sent a message to Ali Babacan and Ahmet Davutoğlu to "stay where you are."

ABDULLAH GÜL'S ROLE IN POLITICS

Çalmuk challenges the common belief that Abdullah Gül has lived a life removed from politics in his mansion in Maslak since leaving the Presidency. He highlighted that Gül's mansion, which is visited by more foreign diplomats than the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is an important center in the international arena in both political and economic terms. Çalmuk emphasized that during this period, Abdullah Gül has been a political figure who fulfills both his personal responsibilities and those imposed by history down to the finest detail.

NEW PARTY WORK WITHIN THE FELICITY PARTY

In his article, another striking claim regarding the Felicity Party is that a new party is set to be established. Çalmuk stated that Milli Görüş members who have left the Felicity Party have reached 30 provinces so far and are aiming to appear before the public in June.
