Manager of hotel where İmamoğlu held meeting detained

Sinan Udil, the manager of the hotel where Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently detained at Silivri Prison, previously held a meeting, has been taken into custody in connection with the taping over of security cameras.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued detention warrants for Sinan Udil, the manager of the hotel named "Le Meridien" visited by IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu, and Security Manager Osman Gündüz Bora Oğurlu, under the scope of the crime of "Destroying, Concealing, or Altering Criminal Evidence." Udil was taken into custody today.

Sinan Udil, who holds a residence permit in Kazakhstan and possesses a Turkish passport, is an experienced general manager who has worked in the hospitality industry for many years. An expert in sales, food and beverage, front office, and event management, Udil was serving as the manager of the Le Meridien Hotel, which Ekrem İmamoğlu visited at the time the incident occurred. A detention warrant was issued for him, along with the hotel's security manager Osman Gündüz Bora Uğurlu, on the allegation of "Destroying, Concealing, or Altering Criminal Evidence."
