Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced in a post on his social media account that staff salaries have been increased by 70 percent as of January 2024.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that they have implemented a 70 percent raise for staff salaries as of January 2024.
In a post on his X (Twitter) account, Yavaş recalled that they had previously implemented a 45 percent increase last January and a 36 percent increase in July, noting that they are happy to have provided a cumulative raise of 235 percent in one year:
"In the new term, we will continue to be '6 Million as One Heart' and will continue to serve our city with dedication alongside our colleagues."
