Mansur Yavaş's 'thigh' response to Turgut Altınok: 'We are winning with a historic record'

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş inaugurated the Election Coordination Center in Elmadağ as part of his local election campaign.

Emphasizing that while serving Ankara, they provide equal service to everyone without looking at "where and how many votes came from," Yavaş stated that municipalism is not just about building roads or laying asphalt, but that all human needs of the people must also be met.

Yavaş also reported that they have provided support to 2 thousand families and 1 thousand farmers in Elmadağ.

Touching upon the Başkent Kart (Capital Card) promise made by People's Alliance ABB mayoral candidate and Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, Yavaş reminded that the municipality has been implementing the Başkent Kart for 3 years.

Yavaş stated, "He is presenting something we have been distributing for three years as a new achievement. We provide one kilogram of meat, and he boasts by saying, 'I am giving a thigh.' We looked at the activity report; he gave it to 2 people in February and 11 people in November. We are supporting 50 thousand families in Keçiören. If you do not know the 50 thousand families in need of support in the district you govern, then you should not talk about these issues at all. Currently, there is no other municipality in Turkey that still provides natural gas. There is no other municipality that provides protein assistance like we do. There is no other municipality that has brought internet to 918 villages."

Stating that he came to Elmadağ with deeds now, whereas he came with promises before the election, Yavaş said, "The people of Ankara have seen us. They have seen that we do not discriminate against anyone and that our services touch people and tradespeople. God willing, this time we are winning with a historic record, with a historic vote share."
