Mansur Yavaş reveals his approval rating! 'The people of Ankara are happy because...'

Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who was re-nominated by the CHP for the March 31, 2024 elections, met with citizens at the Haymana Martyrs' Square.

Speaking there, Yavaş stated that it is no longer being debated on television who will be elected as the Ankara Metropolitan Mayor, but rather how large the margin between the winning and losing candidates will be.

Touching upon the work and support provided during his tenure, Yavaş said, "If Ankara had not elected me, that is, if it had not changed the previous administration, none of the social and rural support we have provided today would exist. Therefore, you will also change Haymana, you will try. We will work hand in hand; if it doesn't work out, you will change the CHP Haymana Mayoral candidate Levent Koç as well. Democracy is something like that."

"THE PEOPLE OF ANKARA ARE ELECTING ME WITH AN APPROVAL RATING REACHING 60 PERCENT"

Revealing his approval rating, Yavaş continued his words as follows;

"The people of Ankara are happy, which is why they are currently electing me with an approval rating reaching 60 percent. If they hadn't made a change, there wouldn't be such satisfaction. Therefore, my dear fellow citizens, in this final term of mine, we will join hands. You, too, hold our hands, be our arms and wings. In the last election, we lost in Beypazarı by only 100 votes. We had supported the IYI Party candidate there. What I mean is, the one who gets one more vote gets the seal and will govern you for 5 years. Even one vote is very important. If you only vote for me and do not elect the mayoral candidate we support, you will hear on television again that they will call us 'lame ducks.' They will obstruct our services."
