Mansur Yavaş shock for Turgut Altınok in AKP stronghold Mamak
Turgut Altınok, the People's Alliance candidate for Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, visited shopkeepers in Mamak, known as an AKP stronghold. Altınok, who was seeking support from citizens for the local elections, was left stunned by the responses he received regarding Mansur Yavaş.
The political agenda has become even more active with parties determining their local election candidates.
People's Alliance candidate Turgut Altınok, who was visiting shopkeepers to meet with voters, did not find what he expected in the AKP stronghold of Mamak.
When a voter told him they were satisfied with Mansur Yavaş, Altınok replied, "So you don't want a metro, then."

"WE ARE SATISFIED WITH THE MAYOR"
In footage broadcast on Fox Haber, Altınok, while speaking with a citizen, said, "We will build your metro, but we will only do it if you provide support. Will you give us your support?" The citizen responded to this question by saying, "Unfortunately."

Not getting the answer he wanted from the citizen, Altınok replied, "So you don't want a metro, you don't want services?" The citizen responded by saying, "We are satisfied with the current active mayor."
"MAYOR YAVAŞ IS A PERSON I LIKE"
Speaking with another citizen, Altınok said, "It won't work with Yavaş for another 5 years." The citizen replied, "Let's not speak ill of Mayor Yavaş; he is a person I like."
