Mass resignation in DEVA Party: Party office closed
A mass resignation earthquake has hit the DEVA Party's Muratlı district organization in Tekirdağ. Following the resignation of the district chair and board members, the party office has been closed.
In Tekirdağ, DEVA Party Muratlı District Chair Zafer Şengül and members of the Board of Directors have resigned from both their positions and their party memberships. The party sign was also taken down, and the party office was closed.
Explaining the reasons for their resignation, DEVA Party Muratlı District Chair Zafer Şengül stated that they had been serving in the DEVA Party for 3 years and had endured all kinds of material and moral difficulties. However, he noted that after the May 14 elections, DEVA Party Deputy Chair and Tekirdağ Member of Parliament Cem Avşar did not even offer a thank you to the organizations, that the headquarters did not value the organizations, and that it did not listen to the voices of the organizations. He added that at this point, they saw that there was no possibility of DEVA winning elections in the districts and province of Tekirdağ.
