Message from Akşener on 'Can Atalay': 'It is an opportunity to end the conflict'

The Constitutional Court has issued a second ruling of rights violation regarding imprisoned TİP MP Can Atalay. 

Commenting on the matter via X, Akşener stated, "It is an opportunity to end the conflict between state institutions," and added the following:

"Our institutions responsible for the implementation of the Constitution are once again facing a historic test...

The Constitutional Court has once again issued a ruling of rights violation regarding the Can Atalay case, and has ordered the 13th High Criminal Court to fulfill the requirements of this decision.

This new decision is an opportunity to end the conflict between state institutions. 

The Istanbul 13th High Criminal Court must take into account that it is the authority to decide on this matter, fulfill the requirements immediately, and this crisis must be resolved at once.

Come, stand by the conscience, rights, and law of the Turkish Nation!

Do not further erode the rule of law and the practices of a state governed by the rule of law, which are already problematic in our country!

Do not deepen this crisis, which will lead to conflict between state organs, with a practice that has no basis in the Constitution or legislation!

Do not occupy our nation any further with artificial agendas and crises!"
