Message from Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu to party leadership: He did not address judicial operations

The 7th Chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, released a video statement on his social media account.

In his statement, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "The Republican People's Party is not an inheritance left to us. Our party is a sacred trust entrusted to us. A trust cannot be tainted. A trust cannot be slandered. My brothers and sisters, the shadow of this great plane tree can never, ever be a sanctuary for illicit gains and corruption. It knows how to cleanse itself when necessary and how to conduct its internal accounting. But it never turns back from its path," he stated.

Kılıçdaroğlu said the following:

Because corrupted politics first rots the conscience, then destroys morality, and finally sets its sights on the nation's bread. And my friends, this heavy responsibility is the duty of the members of the Republican People's Party before anyone else and more than anyone else. Because the Republican People's Party is a massive plane tree. The Republican People's Party is this nation's will to rise from the ashes of scarcity. It has seen coups, but it has not bowed down. It has been shut down, but it has not surrendered. It has experienced oppression, but it has never knelt. It could not be taken over.

THE AGENDA OF ABSOLUTE NULLITY

It was noted that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who is listed as a victim in the lawsuit filed regarding allegations of irregularities at the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, did not mention the judicial operations targeting the CHP in his statements.

In the CHP congress lawsuit, the plaintiffs are demanding that the congress be declared invalid under the scope of "absolute nullity" and that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu be reinstated to his position.

The case in question had been adjourned until July 1.
