Message from the Ülkü Ocakları Adana Provincial President to the Mayor of Pozantı

Ülkü Ocakları Adana Provincial President Cem Tutsoy shared a striking message on his social media account.

Threats flew in Tutsoy's statement. Tutsoy, who is alleged to have threatened Adana Pozantı Mayor Mustafa Çay—who resigned from the MHP after not being nominated as a candidate and joined the New Welfare Party—used the phrase, "We are not responsible for what will happen."

Tutsoy's post is as follows:

"As the Ülkü Ocakları Adana Provincial President, from our ancient city of Adana, where the name of the Nationalist Ülkücü Movement finds its meaning, I say:

I am closely monitoring those who sprouted in the shadow of the MHP, the Great Plane Tree of Turkish politics, who attained certain positions within the Ülkücü Movement, who gained their own prosperity, future, personality, and entire being within the MHP, and who then dared to commit treachery and sell out at the first opportunity. Men who would not even be greeted on the street if not for the specific weight of the MHP are committing 'disloyalty.'

Certain dark groups in Adana are trying to muddy the waters. During this process, the eyes of the Ülkücü will are upon all of them. Those who buttoned their jackets in the presence of the MHP and our Leader until yesterday now see the miracle as their own doing just because the flag has changed in office. This cause is a blessed movement. We will CRUSH THE PLANS of those who attempt to do wrong regarding this cause, who are in a state of heedlessness, and who make calculations as if we do not exist, OVER THEIR HEADS. It is a debt of honor for all individuals who have been part of the Nationalist Ülkücü Movement and all those who support it to protect this cause against those who try to muddy the waters, those who turn their backs, and those who are traitors.
