Message from Ümit Özdağ to Erdoğan: 'You will pay the price for what you have done in Syria'

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ targeted the AKP's Syria policies at his party's Second Ordinary Grand Congress. Özdağ stated, "If the AKP was aware of the attack carried out by HTS, it means they conducted a joint operation with America and Israel. Unfortunately, our country will pay the price for what Erdoğan has done in Syria in the coming period. However, the excuse that 'we cannot send Syrians back before Assad leaves' has now disappeared. Assad is gone," he said.

The Zafer Party's Second Ordinary Grand Congress was held at the Nazım Hikmet Culture Center in Yenimahalle, Ankara. Chairman Ümit Özdağ entered the hall to chants of "Grey Wolf Ümit," and the "Andımız" (The Oath) was recited with enthusiasm at the opening of the congress.

Cezmi Polat was unanimously elected as the chairman of the congress council. Addressing the party members, Özdağ expressed his criticisms regarding Turkey's Syria policies and their potential future impacts in harsh terms. Özdağ said, "There is no longer any excuse for Turkey not to send Syrians back to their country in a dignified manner."

The opening speech of the congress was delivered by Zafer Party Leader Ümit Özdağ. Özdağ invited all the youth to the stage and delivered his speech at the podium together with them. Highlights from Özdağ's speech are as follows:

"This congress is the congress of our retired, widowed, and orphaned brothers and sisters who receive a death benefit between 8 and 12 thousand liras. This congress is the congress of the Turkish laborer who goes to their minimum-wage job in the early hours of the morning on crowded buses and metrobuses, who does not eat the apple or orange provided with the company lunch at noon, but brings it home in the evening to feed their spouse and children. This congress is the congress of the Turkish woman who goes to the neighborhood market every week, wanders from shop to shop, works to find vegetables to put in the bag in her hand, but after filling only one-third of that bag, returns home and thinks deeply about what to cook for her spouse and children.

This congress is the congress of the Turkish tradesman who cannot replace the goods they sell when they sell them, who is crushed under Mehmet Şimşek's taxes, and who forms the blood vessels of the economy. This congress is the congress of the Turkish peasant and farmer whose village became a neighborhood with the Metropolitan Law, who was cut off from production, and who could not receive the financial support they were entitled to from the AKP government. This congress is the congress of the Turkish people whose peace has been disrupted and who have been dragged into misery by millions of refugees and illegal migrants brought into their country after 2011 in one of the greatest migrations in world history.

This congress is the congress of the heroic village guards, our soldiers, our dear martyrs, our beloved veterans, and Mustafa Kemal's lieutenants, first lieutenants, captains, colonels, and generals who have been fighting against the terrorist organization that has been firing bullets at our nation in the name of imperialism and committing massacres in the mountains of our sacred homeland for years. This congress is the continuation of the Amasya, Erzurum, and Sivas congresses.

"NO GREETINGS WILL COME FROM THIS CONGRESS TO BARZANI, DEMİRTAŞ, OR THE TERRORIST CALLED ÖCALAN"

No greetings will come from this congress to Barzani, Selahattin Demirtaş, or the terrorist called Abdullah Öcalan. Greetings from this congress go to the worker, the tradesman, the farmer, the youth, and Mustafa Kemal's lieutenants. A parallel state cannot be established from this congress by those who drink camel urine or by interfaith dialogue advocates. Those who wear priest robes to reach their goals do not come from this congress. One can only reach the goal from this congress with Mustafa Kemal's kalpak.

"WE HAVE MADE THE ISSUE OF REFUGEES AND ILLEGAL MIGRANTS THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE IN TURKISH POLITICS"

Now you will say, 'Why did you choose such a small hall?' We chose this place because we couldn't afford large halls. Otherwise, we know that the halls would be full. When we founded the Zafer Party 28 months ago, they were saying, 'There are 120 parties in Turkey, what do you need?' Then they attacked us by calling us 'racist, fascist, Arab-hating, Islam-hating.' We broke the conspiracies, we overcame the pressures. Embargoes were applied in the media. We entered two major elections under the most difficult conditions.

Even though we had no serious resources, we received over 1 million 200 thousand votes. We increased our votes in the local elections. We conducted real opposition among the people and together with the people. We made the issue of refugees and illegal migrants, which they did not want to be discussed, the most important issue in Turkish politics. Now the pro-government television channels are asking, 'What will the Zafer Party say after what happened in Syria?' Wait a minute, we have just begun.

"OUR STATE IS EXPERIENCING A STATE CRISIS UNDER AKP MANAGEMENT"

We have shown Turkish politics and the Turkish people that politics can be conducted without compromising on Atatürk. The Zafer Party continues to rise upward like an airplane rising in safety and continues to receive the increasing support of the Turkish people. It is very clear that our country is being dragged into a vortex in the grip of four crises and is going through an interregnum period.

Under the AKP government, the general tasked with defending the border is human trafficking. They are betraying Mustafa Kemal's lieutenants. This is the AKP, this is what the AKP is. Gangs have surrounded every area of life; there is a gang for everything. There is a gang for everything, but can there be a gang that kills newborn babies? In the Turkey managed by the AKP, that exists too. In short, our state is experiencing a state crisis under AKP management.

"THIS IS A DAMNED SYSTEM OF EXPLOITATION AND THIS SYSTEM MUST BE DESTROYED"

The Turkish people are becoming impoverished. While the homeownership rate was 73.1 percent in 2002, it has fallen to 56.1 percent, but Qataris, Kuwaitis, and Syrians are becoming homeowners. We are number one among OECD countries in food inflation because we are feeding an extra 13-14 million people in Turkey. The AK Party is on the side of the usurers, not the poor people. The AK Party is the party of the rent-seekers, not the party of the laborers. The Turkish people are becoming impoverished, the cronies are getting rich. This is a damned system of exploitation and this system must be destroyed.

"ANYONE WHO THINKS THEY CAN ENSURE NATIONAL UNITY BY LETTING ÖCALAN SPEAK IS IN A STATE OF NEGLIGENCE AND DELUSION"

There are 5 million Syrian refugees and 2 million illegal migrants. The Ministry of Interior is lying, they say '3 million,' this figure is not true. Our country is under demographic occupation. There is no state on the streets. Citizens go to work and return home in fear. Drugs are now used by shepherds in the mountain villages of Erzurum and by middle school students in Gaziantep.

The real agenda of our country is the economic policies of the palace that impoverish our people more every day. The palace is not on the side of the low-income, the retired, the widowed, the orphaned, or the farmer. The palace is not on the side of the Turkish youth. The palace is the government of the rich, the interest lobbies, and the 'gang of five.' The real problem of our country is that drugs, virtual gambling, and illegal betting spread by organized crime organizations are consuming our youth and the Turkish family.

The Erdoğan-Bahçeli alliance, which cannot solve these problems, has suddenly brought the pardon of Öcalan and a new opening process to Turkey's agenda. Bringing the terrorist named Abdullah Öcalan to the Grand National Assembly does not ensure national unity; on the contrary, it is an insult to the Turkish nation. It would create such a trauma in the Turkish nation and spoil the supporters of the terrorist organization so much that it would be the heaviest blow dealt to national unity.

Anyone who thinks they can ensure national unity by letting Öcalan speak is in a state of negligence and delusion. Erdoğan is telling the PKK, 'Bury your weapons, let us clear your path.' Why don't they surrender the weapons but bury them? This means you are not suggesting they surrender to the PKK; you are aiming to shake hands with the PKK.

"NO ONE IN TURKEY IS UNDER ETHNIC GRIEVANCE CONSTITUTIONALLY AND LEGALLY"

They aim to change the 66th article of our Constitution. There is a systematic attack on the Turkish nation in Turkey. We are not Turkish, we are 'Türkiyeli' (from Turkey). We are not a nation, we are an ummah. These are all steps of subtle treason. No, we are Turks and we will remain Turks, no one will be able to dissuade us from this. Some also say, 'We will fight until the Kurds feel equal.' A state is not managed with feelings, a state is managed with law.

No one in Turkey is under ethnic grievance constitutionally and legally. The 10th and 66th articles of our Constitution have already ensured the principles of constitutional and equal citizenship. Do you think you will establish a better state than the one Mustafa Kemal founded, you fools? I represent a political stance and tradition that says, 'Kurds and Zazas are also an inseparable part of the Turkish nation.'

"THE PKK AND DEM ARE THE ENEMIES OF KURDS AND ZAZAS"

The enemies of Kurds and Zazas are the PKK and DEM, which were founded and managed by the grandchildren of the Dashnaks, the servants of imperialism. You have been the people who suffered the most from PKK terrorism. Despite this, in the 1980s and 90s, you fought alongside the Turkish army and the Turkish gendarmerie for the unity of Turkey against the PKK terrorist organization, and together we defeated the PKK and sent Abdullah Öcalan to where he deserves, to İmralı. But then the AKP came and started negotiations with the PKK.

Are you going to play the same game again? We will not let you play the same game, because now there is the Zafer Party. The Zafer Party is your real party, I invite you all to the Zafer Party. For days, we have seen those speaking on television like the opening spokespersons of Erdoğan and Bahçeli. Öcalan will not come out of İmralı, but I think we will eventually put you in İmralı next to Öcalan.

"ERDOĞAN IS READY TO MAKE ANY CONCESSION TO REMAIN IN POWER"

We see that the AKP is in a tight spot in foreign policy. If the US and Western embargo continues, the economic crisis will deepen and Erdoğan will lose his power. Erdoğan is ready to make any concession to remain in power. We see that the concessions were first made in the Blue Homeland. When the CHP's foreign policy spokesperson referred to the Blue Homeland as a 'story,' the government's job became even easier. We see that they have abandoned the thesis of two independent states in Cyprus and that they are saying yes to a federal solution again. It is understood that the biggest concession was made in Syria.

"SO YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH NETANYAHU WAS NOT THAT BAD"

HTS advanced to Damascus with a sudden attack, almost without fighting. Erdoğan even said: 'If they reach Damascus without any trouble...' No one could have explained better than this that this was not a war. The Syrian Army collapsed without fighting, almost like the Iraqi Army that collapsed in March 2003. If the surprise attack by HTS was without the knowledge of the AKP, it means you don't know what is happening right under your nose. If the attack was with your knowledge, it means you are conducting a joint operation with America and Israel.

We know that this happened with your knowledge. So your relationship with Netanyahu was not that bad. We see that HTS is playing the role that ISIS played. HTS is the former Al-Qaeda, and they don't deny this anyway. The Damascus regime has fallen, now a new power and land-sharing war will begin in Syria. In short, the PKK YPG terrorist army is preparing to make the golden shot in Syria.

The palace regime has caused our country to fall into such a geopolitical trap that it has become a mistake so severe that it will cause a vital crisis in our Republican history. In the coming period, our country will unfortunately pay the price for what Erdoğan has done in Syria.

But now the excuse that 'we cannot send Syrians back before Assad leaves' has disappeared. Assad is gone. They ask, 'What will the Zafer Party do?' The Zafer Party will send the Syrians you have no intention of sending. Now they will say, 'Wait a minute. Let the new Syrian regime be established first, let full stability be ensured. Then they will return.' They will publish wrong statistics as they always do.

"WE WILL SEND THE ADVENTURERS WITH ZAFER TOURISM"

We will share the globalization and economic victory program required for Turkey to overcome the ramp and make an economic leap with the Turkish nation on the 17th, one week after our congress, in Istanbul. We will establish the State Planning Organization. Within the framework of planned economic investments, we will support both state investments and private sector investments in strategic sectors.

We will spread investments across the country. With the 'Four Regions Four Seas Project,' we will create four new Marmara Regions. We will reorganize the Techno Parks and spread them all over Anatolia. We are exporting software developers to the Netherlands, and in return, we are importing those from Syria, Pakistan, and Afghanistan who cannot even read or write in their own language. 'WE WILL COMPLETELY CLOSE THE INFANT SCHOOLS THAT BRAINWASH OUR CHILDREN'
