MHP announces 55 more candidates

Ahead of the March 31 local elections, the MHP has announced 55 more candidates for the 13th time.

MHP Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz stated the following regarding the announcement of the candidates:

“As a result of the evaluations made by our party's authorized bodies and the approval of our Chairman, Mr. Devlet BAHÇELİ, the list of names of our 55 Town Mayoral Candidates, whose candidacies have been finalized as the 13th stage for the March 31, 2024 Local Administration Elections, is below.”.

WHY DOES THE MHP ALWAYS ANNOUNCE 55 CANDIDATES?

The party was founded on February 9, 1969, when the Republican Villagers Nation Party changed its name to the Nationalist Movement Party at the general congress held in Adana.

For this reason, since 2024 marks the 55th anniversary of the party's founding, the MHP is announcing 55 mayoral candidates each day.
