EXECUTION SHOULD BE POSTPONED UNTIL RECOVERY

EMPHASIS ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND THE RIGHT TO LIFE

The MHP Deputy Chairman stated that the right to life is the most fundamental right within the framework of human rights, referring to Article 17 of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey. Stating, "As stated in Human Rights Conventions and Article 17 of our Constitution; 'every human being has an inherent right to life. The right to life, which ranks first in terms of value among human rights, is the reason for the existence of all other rights,'" Yıldız argued that the right to life of sick prisoners should be a priority.
