Harsh words from MHP deputy to AKP mayor! 'Not urban transformation, but window dressing'

MHP Ordu Deputy Naci Şanlıtürk made statements on the local television channel Kanal 52. In his remarks there, Şanlıtürk attacked AKP Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Hilmi Güler with harsh words.

"THEY ARE PASSING IT OFF AS URBAN TRANSFORMATION"

"The Ordu Metropolitan Municipality is passing off the construction of housing on empty land as urban transformation," claimed Şanlıtürk, adding, "Is the director general responsible? Of course, he is responsible. We are saying this clearly without beating around the bush. Ordu is a People's Alliance municipality. Agreed, but all responsibility is his."

"LIKE ADNAN OKTAR'S KITTENS..."

Arguing that the municipality also spends 12 to 13 million liras on its communications units, Şanlıtürk said, "It is easy to put NGO heads on the payroll from the municipal treasury and pay them hush money. Videos saying 'We did very well, it's very beautiful' are being shared on social media like Adnan Oktar's kittens. Stop having commissioned news articles written in newspapers with public money."

In the continuation of his statements, Şanlıtürk included the following remarks:

"What is it, sir, they are producing energy. Come on, show me, where and how are you producing energy? Come, let's take a sample from your streams and see.

It is easy to send the district governor and municipal police to the poor person selling meatballs by the stream and show the power of the state. Come, show that power to the metropolitan municipalities."
