Deliberations on the 2024 Central Government Budget Law Proposal and the 2022 Central Government Final Account Law Proposal continue in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly.

Bahçeli, who followed the proceedings in the TBMM General Assembly, answered questions from journalists in the lobby.

When asked by a journalist, "Are the budget deliberations a bit lackluster this year? Is it the Özgür Özel effect?", Bahçeli replied, "Let's call it calm rather than lackluster."

Regarding the question of whether he would have a meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan this week concerning the local elections, Bahçeli responded, "We do not have such information at this stage, but the commission's work is ongoing. I believe it is nearing completion. It may happen after that, however."
