MHP's 'local election' plan has been revealed

The MHP will conduct its local election efforts with the goals of "harmony between central and local government," "winning metropolitan municipalities," and "the absolute victory of the People's Alliance in the 11 provinces affected by the earthquake."

According to information obtained, the MHP has accelerated its work following Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's launch of the local election preparation process in July under the theme "Towards 2024, Province by Province Anatolia."

SLOGANS HAVE BEEN CLARIFIED

The MHP has built its election strategy around the slogans "For Stability and Service, With Harmonious Governance, Towards a Hopeful Future" and "Towards Hope Without Disrupting Stability from Center to Local."

Setting the first of its election strategy headings as "harmony between central and local government working in unison," the party aims to maintain the success achieved by the People's Alliance in the Presidential and 28th Term Parliamentary General Elections during the local elections as well.

The MHP believes that this will consolidate political stability and increase the quality of services provided to citizens.

While winning metropolitan municipalities not currently held by the People's Alliance is set as the second goal in the MHP's strategy, the party aims for the alliance to achieve an "absolute victory" in the 11 provinces and their districts affected by the February 6 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş.

The party, which wants to increase the number of MHP-held municipalities in the elections to be held on March 31, 2024, had won 232 municipalities in the 2019 local elections, including one metropolitan municipality (Manisa), 10 provinces, 133 districts, and 88 towns.

SPECIAL "ALWAYS BY YOUR SIDE" CAMPAIGN FOR EARTHQUAKE-AFFECTED PROVINCES

Meanwhile, MHP Chairman Bahçeli has instructed that campaign efforts in the 11 provinces affected by the earthquake be conducted with consideration for the sensitivities of earthquake victims. In this context, the MHP has launched a campaign specifically for the earthquake-affected provinces with the main theme "Always By Your Side."

In the campaign, the party will emphasize that they will always be by the side of the earthquake victims and will use the slogans "The Right Decision to Make, The People's Alliance Will Heal the Wounds," "By Your Side With All Our Strength in Difficult Times," "We Will Carefully Heal the Wounds, We Will Build a Secure Future," and "Unconditional Support, Uninterrupted Service."
