MHP official insults journalists: 'We will make them dance in women's clothing'

MHP Bolvadin Mayor Derviş Aynacı gave a harsh response on social media to journalists who made criticisms regarding the municipality. In a post on his social media account, Aynacı insulted the journalists, calling them "enemies of the country," and stated, "No matter how much we leash them, the dogs continue to report fake news."

HARSH AND THREATENING POST

Aynacı made threatening statements toward journalists in response to the criticism. The mayor targeted the journalists, saying, "Those who make and commission this news have no more value in this country than the dogs you see in this photo." Aynacı also used threatening language, saying, "When the time comes, we will do what is necessary and then make them take up the profession of dancing in women's clothing at weddings, God willing."

Aynacı wrote the following on his social media account:

“There are many enemies of the country, of course; no matter how much we leash them, the dogs continue to report fake news. This photo was taken previously, and these are enemies of the country and their dogs trying to conduct a perception operation as if it were today.

Please do not give credence to such fake news, and let us not give an opportunity to those who are uncomfortable with the development of our country. Those who make and commission this news have no more value in this country than the dogs you see in this photo. These people understand neither words nor a beating; they wander around the bazaar in a row.

We know how dishonorable they are; when the time comes, we will do what is necessary and then make them take up the profession of dancing in women's clothing at weddings, God willing.

You will not be able to stop us, and you will not be able to tire us out from doing our best for the development of our Bolvadin.”
