Minister Yerlikaya campaigns for AKP candidates in Konya: 'That place will also get its wish'

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya visited his hometown of Konya. 

Minister Yerlikaya first visited local shopkeepers in the Akşehir district.

Addressing the crowd gathered there, Minister Yerlikaya stated that there are only a few days left until the March 31 Local Administration Elections and asked for votes for the AKP's mayoral candidates in Akşehir and other districts, as well as the candidate for the Konya Metropolitan Municipality.

"WHAT REAL MUNICIPALISM IS..."

Yerlikaya said, "There are only a few days left until March 31. There are only a few days left until the Local Administration Elections. Just as our Konya achieved great success in the general elections on May 14-28, by God's will, on the evening of March 31, we will show what real municipalism is in all our districts, especially in the metropolitan municipality, and what it means to entrust that seal to the city's trustees, by God's will."

"THAT PLACE WILL ALSO GET ITS WISH, DO NOT WORRY AT ALL"

Yerlikaya continued, "In 1994, our President showed our Istanbul, the sultan of cities and the crown jewel of our civilization, what real municipalism is, and what it means to be a sincere servant from heart to heart, to Turkey and our entire geography of the heart and the world. But that demonstration, that realization of this work in Turkey, was undoubtedly first captured by Konya municipalism. My dear brothers and sisters, Konya municipalism has been implementing the most beautiful examples of that real municipalism since that day, by God's will."

Asking for the services provided by the Akşehir Municipality and the Konya Metropolitan Municipality to be explained door-to-door, Yerlikaya was interrupted by someone in the crowd who shouted, "Istanbul is ours." Minister Yerlikaya replied, "Of course. That place will also get its wish. Do not worry at all. By God's will."
