Muharrem İnce gives a striking response to the question 'Will you join the CHP?'

Memleket Party Chairman Muharrem İnce, who recently visited CHP leader Özgür Özel, made evaluations regarding the upcoming local elections.

“THEY ARE IDENTIFYING THE RIGHT CANDIDATES”

Speaking to İsmail Saymaz from Sözcü, İnce said he observed that the AKP had learned lessons from the 2019 local elections and had prepared very well for these elections.

İnce stated, "The AK Party is preparing very well. They made big mistakes in 2019. They said 'Pontus', they didn't take İmamoğlu to the VIP lounge. I see that they haven't made any mistakes in this election. They are identifying the right candidates."

"THEY PUT THE BEST CANDIDATES IN ISTANBUL AND ANKARA"

Evaluating Murat Kurum's candidacy for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), İnce said, “I think they put the best candidate in Istanbul.” Regarding Turgut Altınok, whose name is mentioned for the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidacy, he commented, “Altınok is also the right name. He is the right one against Mansur Yavaş. They will split the nationalist (Ülkücü) votes.”

"THE IYI PARTY WILL BE A GOOD SPOILER THIS TIME"

Touching upon the IYI Party, which decided to enter the local elections 'freely and independently', İnce said, “Is Buğra (Kavuncu) a bad candidate, my friend? They will get something, you will see. The IYI Party will be a good spoiler this time.”

"THERE IS SOMEONE WELL-KNOWN TO THE PUBLIC WHO SAID 'MAKE ME THE CANDIDATE FOR İBB'"

Leaving the door open for cooperation with the CHP, İnce also said that they could field their own candidates in all 81 provinces if necessary.

Stating that a well-known public figure asked him to 'Make me the candidate for İBB', İnce said, “I cannot give a name, but there is someone well-known to the public who said 'Make me the candidate for İBB'. Do I want to do this? No, I don't want to.”

“WE WANT AN HONORABLE ALLIANCE”

In response to the question, “What kind of alliance do you desire?”, İnce replied, “An honorable alliance. We will not go to the CHP and say 'Give us this'. We have no such demand.”

“LET US TALK ONE-ON-ONE WITH MR. ÖZGÜR”

İnce's response to the question “Could your joining the CHP be on the table?” was as follows;

“There are those who want it, and those who don't. Who is left in the CHP the least? The Atatürkists. They left and were left on the sidelines. We haven't reached those points (joining) yet. Let us talk one-on-one with Mr. Özgür.”
