CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Memleket Party Chairman Muharrem İnce allegedly met in Ankara during the week of January 8.

According to a report by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün Newspaper; the local elections to be held on March 31, 2024, were on the agenda during the meeting. İnce left the door open for a possible cooperation with the CHP. While it was learned that the prevailing tendency in the Memleket Party is for "full cooperation with the CHP in certain cities," the possibility of "full support" will also be discussed. 

According to information obtained from Memleket Party sources, the CHP's candidates for Istanbul and Ankara will be supported.

PARTY ASSEMBLY MEETING IN MEMLEKET PARTY

The party will also discuss entering the elections with its own candidates in some districts based on poll results.

In this context, evaluation reports from provincial and district organizations will be addressed. The Memleket Party will convene its Party Assembly on January 24. The sole agenda of the meeting will be the March 31, 2024 Local Elections.

Memleket Party Chairman Muharrem İnce had made a noteworthy post on his social media account yesterday. In his message, İnce said, "I have not spoken for months, you have been patient. I ask you to be patient until Friday. Everything is for the Homeland."
