Municipalities that switched from AKP and MHP to CHP have been identified!
The CHP, which became the leading party across Turkey with 37.74 percent of the vote in the March 31 Local Elections, also succeeded in winning many provinces and districts previously held by the AKP and MHP.
The eagerly awaited March 31 Local Elections are now behind us.
In this critical election, the CHP won again in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, the cities where the results were most anticipated.
Reaching a 37.74 percent vote share nationwide, the CHP became the leading party, while the election results caused great disappointment for the AKP.
The New Welfare Party (YRP), which closed its doors to an alliance with the AKP in the local elections, came in third in the election by receiving nearly 3 million votes.
The DEM Party received 5.66 percent of the vote, and the MHP received 4.98 percent.
On the night of March 31, when the map turned red, the CHP won many provinces and districts that were in the hands of the AKP and MHP.
