Murat Emir's call to Akın Gürlek regarding his assets: 'Before you were appointed to the ministry...'
CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir has demanded transparency from Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek following allegations regarding his assets that have sparked public debate. Emir posed the question to Gürlek via social media: 'Will you share your past transaction records from E-Devlet?'
The allegations regarding the assets of Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, brought to the agenda by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, have become a major topic of discussion.
Following these statements, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir also reacted to Minister of Justice Gürlek's remarks in an announcement he made on social media.
In his post, Emir made the following open call to Minister Gürlek:
"Mr. Akın Gürlek, stop trying to save the day by saying 'The documents are fake.' Do not use the length of the court process as an opportunity to gain time; entering the ID numbers disclosed by our Chairman Özgür Özel into E-Devlet in front of the cameras will only take one minute. You need to answer these questions: What sales did you carry out before you were appointed to the ministry? Will you transparently share your entire past transaction record from E-Devlet?"
