Murat Kurum reveals the vote gap between him and Ekrem İmamoğlu: 'It's the same in the poll conducted by the CHP'

With less than 2 months left until the local elections, mayoral candidates have accelerated their efforts.

While Istanbul is at the forefront of the cities most curious about in this critical election, the People's Alliance's IMM candidate Murat Kurum answered questions from Candaş Tolga Işık during a live broadcast on TV 100.

Speaking about the poll results, Kurum argued that the current administration 'sees itself on top of the mountains.' Claiming that IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has begun to create a perception that they are 8-10 points ahead in the polls, Kurum shared the results of the latest election poll on his desk.

"WE WERE 2 POINTS BEHIND, WE ARE CURRENTLY 1.5 POINTS AHEAD"

Stating that they were 2 points behind according to the poll results conducted immediately after he became a candidate, Kurum said, "Because they do not focus on Istanbul, and are always chasing different agendas outside of Istanbul's issues and see Istanbul as a stepping stone, unfortunately, they are not looking for their rivals in Istanbul either. However, their rivals are the indifference to this city; they are not aware of this. They were portraying themselves as 8-10 points ahead, polls were flying around. We conducted a poll after the candidacy, we were 2 points behind. I had a poll conducted just before the launch, we are currently 1.5 points ahead, and it is the same in the poll conducted by the CHP."
