Murat Kurum shares a 'very important story' about Erdoğan and Bahçeli

AKP's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Murat Kurum, who has recently been in the spotlight for gaffes made during rallies where he appeared before citizens, participated in a live broadcast.

Responding to questions from the program's moderators, Kurum made comments regarding the alliances discussed ahead of the local elections.

Stating that the People's Alliance continues to move forward as a whole and that there are no problems within the alliance, Kurum also shared a story regarding its operations.

Beginning his remarks by saying, "Let me tell you a very important story," Murat Kurum said the following:

"Our President is elected in the Century of Turkey. In the process after the election, he holds meetings with Devlet Bey and other partners... Perhaps it is not right for me to tell this, but I will tell it. 

When he asked Devlet Bey, 'Do you have any demands at this point?', Devlet Bey said in an extremely courteous manner, 'Sir, this nation has elected you, therefore you must govern. Other than this, a demand from us is never out of the question.'

That is how deep and meaningful his expression is."
