Müsavat Dervişoğlu warns the government about sects and religious communities: 'They are in harmony for now, until their interests clash'

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements at his party's group meeting.

Highlights from Dervişoğlu's remarks are as follows:

WARNING ON SECTS AND RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES

"We see that no lessons have been learned today. 'Hocaefendis' are being replaced by sheikhs, this religious community, or that sect. Other unnamed organizations, which have positioned themselves within the police and judiciary and pledge their loyalty not to the state but to the sects and communities that serve as their reference, are now vying for the throne vacated by FETÖ.

Just like FETÖ, they are in harmony with the AK Party government for now, until their interests clash."

"I am warning you once again from here; those who pursue allegiance instead of merit, sects instead of truth, favoritism instead of law, ignorance instead of Islam, submission instead of freedom, and royalty instead of the Republic will be deceived again, will deceive again, and will bring disaster to this nation once more."

"What they are doing is not trade, and the Palace regime is not a merchant regime. They are directly usurers, usurers. They are usurers who buy human lives for pennies and sell them for a profit."

THE TRAGEDY IN IZMIR

(Regarding the tragedy in Izmir) The central administration blamed the local government, and the local government waited for the central administration. At the point we have reached, neither were the complaints answered nor was the problem at hand solved. No one should take offense, but the local government did not take the initiative to solve it either. The private distribution company left it to the municipality, the municipality to TEDAŞ, and TEDAŞ to the company.

HE ADDRESSED ŞİMŞEK AS 'TAX-O-MATIC MEHMET'

Let's come to the most painful issue and its hero, 'Tax-o-matic' Mehmet... The gentleman said, 'I have not seen credit card installments in England.' He is right, he hasn't. We all know that as a British citizen, he lives in very good conditions.

Our retired citizens no longer have the strength to endure. They have reached the end of their patience. Mr. Erdoğan, the country's only local and national economy expert, should try to get out of the fantasy world he is in as soon as possible.

Ministers who sit in the positions given to them by the nation and threaten the people should also pull themselves together.

Turn your faces to our retirees, who can show no vital activity other than breathing, oh holders of power."
