Message of a 'new route' from Müsavat Dervişoğlu: We will put everything on the table

The camp of the İYİ Party, which suffered a disappointment in the local elections and where resignations have continued to increase, is ongoing.

The evaluation camp organized by the party on July 13-14 began with the opening speech of İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu.

Speaking about the local elections, Dervişoğlu said, "We cannot claim that we have fulfilled the requirements of the change our nation expects from us just by holding a convention, changing the chairman, or restructuring party boards. We must consult on the signals we received in the elections. We must always remember that consultation is a fundamental condition in the essence of the national will that founded us."

Dervişoğlu continued his speech as follows:

"We will be in our family council. We will talk about ourselves first. Whatever we did wrong, we will swear not to do it again. No one's mistake will be less important than another's, and no one's truth will be more important than another's. Therefore, we will put everything on the table. We will talk without getting stuck in the past but by accounting for it, without diminishing the present but by doing it justice, and without sanctifying the future but by knowing its value. We will talk first, and then we will talk to the nation."

Noting that a new route will be charted when necessary, Dervişoğlu said, "We will walk with speed, patience, and determination, and we will certainly be victorious. The İYİ Party is aware of the nationalism, developmentalism, and democracy that founded it, and is conscious of what it was founded against. For this reason, with the high sky above its head and the conscience it carries in its heart, it knows that the only address to which it will account is the Turkish nation. It never forgets that the only place it will settle scores with is the government that has been making it suffer for 22 years," he said.

EVALUATION REGARDING THE İYİ PARTY

Making evaluations regarding his party, Dervişoğlu stated, "We are here to realize our claim to rebuild Turkey. Let those who assign us a lifespan and a mission know that the lifespan and mission of the İYİ Party are determined by the Turkish nation. As the İYİ Party, we will have completed our duty when we save the economy from the quagmire, justice from tutelage, population and border security from humiliation, and when we re-establish the parliamentary system, restore our cities, nature, water, and land, and rebuild our brotherhood, our Republic, our democracy, our national pride, and our national unity."

Following Müsavat Dervişoğlu's speech, presentations were made by the Organization, Financial Affairs, Media and Promotion, National Security and Migration, and International Relations presidencies, as well as the TBMM Group Deputy Chairmanship. After the presentations, members of parliament and GİK members will share their views and thoughts, and Dervişoğlu will answer questions.
