New documents in Epstein case coming to light
A federal judge in the U.S. has authorized the release of grand jury records from Jeffrey Epstein's human trafficking case. These documents could reveal Epstein's connections to many powerful figures, including Donald Trump.
New documents regarding Jeffrey Epstein, known as the leader of a child sex trafficking ring who was found dead in his cell, are set to be released to the public. A federal judge in the U.S. has granted the Department of Justice permission to release grand jury records from the Epstein case.
These documents could shed light on Epstein's relationships with many wealthy and influential individuals, including U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump had stated that he ended his friendship with Epstein years ago. However, he had opposed the release of the Epstein files.
TRUMP'S STANCE CHANGED
Trump was forced to sign the law for the release of the documents as a result of pressure from his own supporters. The law, signed on November 19, is being closely followed by both Trump's political rivals and voters who are demanding greater transparency.
Many believe that Epstein's relationships with powerful people were covered up and that the details of his death in a Manhattan jail, which was recorded as a suicide, were obscured. Trump, on the other hand, argues that these files are a hoax fabricated to overshadow the achievements of the Democrats.
