New poll results revealed: 6 out of every 10 IYI Party supporters said 'Imamoglu'
MetroPOLL Research has shared the results of its latest poll conducted for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) mayoral race. According to the survey data, IBB Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu is leading the AKP's Istanbul candidate Murat Kurum by 3.6 points.
Sözcü columnist İsmail Saymaz shared the details of the 'four-candidate' poll conducted by MetroPOLL Research with his readers.
According to the poll, the vote shares are as follows:
Ekrem İmamoğlu: 41.6 percent
Murat Kurum: 38 percent
Possible DEM Party candidate: 5.6 percent
İYİ Party candidate: 2.9 percent
6 OUT OF EVERY 10 İYİ PARTY SUPPORTERS SAID 'EKREM İMAMOĞLU'
63.8 percent of İYİ Party supporters chose Ekrem İmamoğlu, while 24.1 percent chose their own candidate; among DEM Party supporters, 61.7 percent chose their own candidate, while 34.8 percent preferred İmamoğlu. 11.9 percent said "I have no opinion."
