New transfers to the AKP: CHP deputy's nephew also joins
New members joined the party during a program attended by AKP Deputy Chairman Ahmet Baha Öğütken. Selçuk Tüzün, the nephew of CHP Deputy Yaşar Tüzün, his former advisor Sinan Ünsal, and Mustafa Uz, the 2024 Provincial General Assembly member candidate for the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi), were pinned with AKP badges at a ceremony.
AKP Deputy Chairman Ahmet Baha Öğütken arrived in Bilecik yesterday for a series of meetings. Öğütken began his program by visiting the tomb of Ertuğrulgazi, the leader of the Kayı Tribe and father of Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman Empire, and later met with party members at the AKP Bilecik Provincial Headquarters.
In the evening, Öğütken attended the Provincial Advisory Council Meeting held at Pelitözü Gölpark. A badge-pinning ceremony was held at the meeting for those joining the AKP.
Among those who joined the party were businessman Selçuk Tüzün, the nephew of CHP Deputy Yaşar Tüzün, and Tüzün's former advisor Sinan Ünsal. Additionally, Mustafa Uz, who was the first-rank candidate for the Provincial General Assembly for the New Welfare Party in the 2024 local elections, also joined the ranks of the AKP.
The badges of those who switched to the AKP were pinned by AKP Deputy Chairman Ahmet Baha Öğütken. Öğütken conveyed his wishes for success and good luck to the new members.
